  1. Number two in a series of Julia set animations.  Each point in the
  2. Mandelbrot set has a corresponding Julia set.  If you draw a line through
  3. any two points in the MSet you'll find the Julia sets lying along that
  4. line can be strung together to make a pleasing animation.

  6. This animation takes the horizontal line running through the midpoint of
  7. the MSet (the X-Axis line) from -5.0 to +1.8.
  8.  
  9. To make this a practical download I chose to render the sets using the
  10. binary decomposition method instead of the more traditional level set
  11. method.  This produces pretty nifty geometric images and, since it needs
  12. only two colors, lets me render on a one-bitplane screen.

  14. Use the freely distributable ShowAnim to play this (the icon info contains
  15. reasonable play parameters) or use DPaint III. -- Art
